@tinyroofnail For the sake of the thread, I too can recommend this book. It’s a good read. We are happy to have an EPA-rated efficient wood stove as the backup and occasional supplement to our heat pumps, although more due to “like running the wood stove” rather than “the heat pumps can’t handle the cold.” I was just stacking our firewood this afternoon.
